Himanshi was born in Kiratpur Sahib, Punjab, India on 27 November 1991. She started her acting career after became Miss Ludhiana 2011 at the age of 17. She was one of the finalists of Miss PTV Punjabi 2010 Himanshi made her first screen debut with the Film Jeet Langey Jahaan (2012). She had worked with four movies including Sadda Haq, Jeet Langey Jahaan, Leather Life and 2 Bol etc. Himanshi then moved to Delhi and became the brand ambassador for Mac and was then signed by Meccan for international endorsements. After that Himanshi went on to work for MakeMyTrip, Gitanjali Jewellers, Ayur, Pepsi, Nestle, Big Bazaar, Kingfisher, Calvin Klein and many other high-profile companies. In 2012 she had started the music video for Fasli Bateray song sung by Firoz Khan. In 2013 she was seen in the song of Hardy Sandhu (Soch) and also play a good role in hit movie Sadda Hak. After that the year 2015 is the successful year for Himanshi. In 2015 she worked with many singers including Badshah, J-Starr, Jassi Gill, Ninja, Mankirt Aulakh
